lol, well I would say to Sylvies question that he either told them to tie or he said that it's not who get's there last, it's the one whose camal is the most tired and therefore the slowest upon inspection.

How could stealing the other's camel be the answer since both jumped on their camals... oh wait, they jumped on the other's camel to race it to the city thus leaving their camel to be the last if ever to arive. Ahhhh, very clever.

Well, in answer to your origional question, I would say an answer is impossible. No one really knows how old the earth is, and using the generations given in the Bible is not accurate either.

In the genealogies of the Bible, generations are most likely skipped, thus so and so begot so and so who is actually his great great grandson. It's believed that only the most prominent persons are recorded in the genealogies.

Thus, the world may indeed be much older than 7,000 years according to the Bible. Now, some would say that there are no gaps in the genealogies and that the earth is just that, around 7,000 years old. I think that's the number that they arive at.

So, to caculate how many peopl have died is anyone's best guess. Though developing a diminishing equation would be rather entertaining. Each generation would be smaller than the previous, assuming that their were no major population decreases except for the Great Flood. Hmmmm, first I would have to find out how many people there are alive today. To much work for me I think. So what did you come up with?

lol, yes, but your "definate" answer is based on assumptions and therefore is obviously anything but.

It is fairly fascinating though to think about that many people having come and gone. that's a stinken lot of people.

I started thinking about how many people have gone to heaven or hell, and it makes me sick to my stomach. Litterly. What a horrible horrible thing. Immagine what God must feel. No wonder He gave us Jesus. That's an aweful lot of people.
